What Are People Saying About Our Georgia Roofing Company?

What Are People Saying About Our Georgia Roofing Company? Now that we’ve been writing our roofing blog for a while, we’ve covered most of the basics when it comes to getting the right roof on your home. We’ve discussed the advantages of each type of roof material — tile, metal, asphalt, shake — and talked about the ways in which each of these can wear and be damaged. We’ve talked about the dangers of ignoring your need for roof repair and some of the reasons you shouldn’t try tackling your own roofing project.

So, with us doing most of the talking, we thought we’d give our customers a chance to talk. We can say anything we want about ourselves, and while we certainly believe we’re the best Georgia roofing company around, we know it means a lot more to our blog readers to hear it from an actual customer. Today we’re going to see what Sue has to say about RROG.

“They gave me thorough explanations and answers to my questions. I was shown a video of my old roof and a computer simulation of what my shingle selection would look like. The crew arrived on time and were careful to protect my landscaping. They also cleaned up before they left. Then a few days later a different crew came to inspect the work and answer any concerns I had–which I did not. They did not ask for any payment until after the quality-control inspection was complete. My insurance adjuster also raved about RRG. He told me he wished he could work with them on every job!”

Thanks for writing in, Sue.  You’ve brought up quite a bit, so let’s break it down.

“They gave me thorough explanations and answers to my questions.”

We’re glad you pointed that out. The fact is, a good roofing company will always realize that we’re working for you, the homeowner; it’s still your house! While we might be experts, we know very well that there are many common questions about roofing that the average homeowner doesn’t understand. We’re happy to work with homeowners who have dozens of questions about the process as well as homeowners who trust us fully and just say “you do your thing.”

“I was shown a video of my old roof and a computer simulation of what my shingle selection would look like.”

We’re glad you enjoyed our little demonstration regarding what your house would look like with different types of shingles. While it’s much more likely that the color of your house will change before you’ll need another set of shingles in 20 years, most people are choosing the shingles that will match the house color right now. Shingle color can play a big part in how your house will look, and having a visual representation of how it will look has changed the minds of many customers. A green house with red shingles? That ends up looking a little too year-’round-Christmasy for most people!

“The crew arrived on time and were careful to protect my landscaping. They also cleaned up before they left.”

Check, check, and check! You’ve just mentioned three of the most important considerations our roofing company makes whenever we perform a job. We know that your time is important, and that you don’t want us to be around for any longer than we need to be. Of course, we’re also concerned about taking care of our clients’ yards, because we know how much work (and money) they’ve put into them. On top of that, we always make sure to leave the yard looking good after we leave. While there will always be some detritus that washes down the gutters after the first few rains after installation (shingle granules, tiny pieces of shingle), we make sure to clean up everything we can from the driveway, rocks, and grass.

“My insurance adjuster also raved about RRG. He told me he wished he could work with them on every job!”

Have to admit, this is one of our favorite parts of this review. How a roofing company deals with insurance adjusters can play a huge role in how smoothly everything goes for the homeowner. If a company isn’t familiar with what’s needed for a particular roof replacement, they might not secure the homeowner the amount of money needed to get the job done. On the other hand, asking for too much can put some insurance adjusters on edge and make them fight back against the payments.

We’re so glad that the insurance adjuster was pleased with the way we handled things. We take pride in that.
