Slate Tile Roof Preservation
Challenge
This was a detailed slate job on a cemetery gatehouse tower, sold by Andrew and managed on-site by Ryan. From the start, they knew this wasn’t just another roof—it was about preserving the character and history of the structure while making sure it was protected the right way.
Solution
They worked tirelessly to keep the tower’s original look intact, carefully reusing the existing slate and sorting through each piece to make sure it was set just right. Custom hip flashing was fabricated to match the structure, and copper drip edge and copper nails were installed throughout to tie everything in clean and secure.
Slate work takes patience, and this one got the attention it deserved. Between Andrew getting everything lined up and Ryan managing it in the field, the final result stayed true to its original design while being built to last.
